As the General Manager Supply & Distribution, you will lead our European Distribution Center (EDC), overseeing everything from staff management to shipment coordination. Your mission will be to ensure our warehouse operations are as efficient and effective as possible, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, preferably within the automotive aftersales and distribution sector.

**What your responsibilities will be**:

- Lead Distribution & Transportation: Develop and implement policies that ensure our dealers and distributors receive top-notch service.
- Manage Incoming Goods: Oversee the storage and recording of goods, ensuring our procedures are always up-to-date and effective.
- Oversee Outgoing Goods: Create and implement packaging plans that comply with all regulations.
- Inventory Strategy: Design and deliver strategies that secure supplies and minimize costs.
- Operations Management: Take charge of significant operational areas within our organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the department.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budget plans for the Supply & Distribution department.
- Performance Management: Set and uphold performance objectives, ensuring annual business goals are met.
- Compliance: Ensure all business activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Talent Development: Evaluate and develop the capabilities of your team, building a strong talent pool.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Manage stakeholders and develop engagement plans to support business decisions.
- Health, Safety, and Environment: Adhere to and enforce HSE policies to safeguard the environment and individual well-being.

**What you bring**:

- Master’s degree in a Logistics / Supply Chain Management area.
- Over 10 years of expert competence in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in automotive aftersales and distribution.
- Over 6 years of experience in planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
- Strong financial acumen, business insight, customer focus, and the ability to build effective teams.
- Fluent in business English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
- A strategic mindset, the ability to drive engagement, and a focus on continuous improvement.
