**A Day in the Life**
In this role you will be reporting to the Director Distribution Requirement Planning and supervising a team of Supply and Inventory Planners. You and your team will be contributing to the Medtronic mission by guaranteeing constant product supply in balance with the demand. You will play a key role in ensuring that our customers receive our life changing therapies on time. As a manager you will lead the team, set goals, organize performance conversations and support them in their development.

Your main objective will be to ensure the team is able to reach high service levels to our customers, at optimal cost. Main contribution from Supply Chain Planning is to achieve high Product Availability (97%), while minimizing inventory and obsolescence costs (meet AOP). Your team will be responsible for ideal safety stock settings, master data management, work with vendors / supplying plants on adherence to safety stock in parallel with maintaining healthy inventory levels and reducing scrap and obsolescence. Embracing and integrating the global standard for our ‘day in the life of’ is an important element to achieve this.

**Must Haves**
- Natural coach, balancing personal and content aspects, genuine ambassador of the departmental vision and strategy (Trusted Partner).
- Team player who fosters cross functional long-term relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Managing several tasks at once poses no problem for you, as is working under pressure.
- Bachelor or Master degree preferably in logistics or supply chain.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management in an international environment.
- Excellent command of the English language (oral and written).
- Contribute and drive accountability to the KPI and performance settings.
- Adaptive to change; you are able guide your team through a continuously changing environment.
- Understand and actively contribute to business goals.
- Think end to end when dealing with challenges and opportunities.
- Give operational support combined with a continuous improvement mindset.
