Mechanical Technician

We are looking for an Mechanical Technician, with a mechanical workshop mentality that takes a pivotal role as a linking pin between the ASML short time to market for production requests and the related proto challenges ahead to solve.

**Role and responsibilities**:
You are primary responsible to ensure on time delivery with the right quality of the requested parts.
- Operate conventional milling/turning machine
- Operate CNC milling and turning machine
- Support organization in cleanroom environment when disturbances occur
- Producing parts/proto’s/dummy’s with mechanical machining (conventional and CNC Machining).
- Check TPD and give advice about the manufacturability.
- Research into manufacturability, quality improvement and optimization of the machining process.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and demands.
- Equipment maintenance, materials handling and cleaning of the machines.
- Ensure quality on output of outgoing parts from the Modelshop.

**Education and experience**:
MBO or HBO

Preferably 5+ years’ experience in high tech development environment or proto experience.

Proficient in Microsoft office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Experience in NX CAD/CAM is needed or other CAD/CAM software. In addition experience in Heidenhain or relevant software is preferred.
