Our Project Controls Team in Hoofddorp is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, from client representatives to Fluor’s leadership, ensuring that each project exceeds expectations.
As a Project Controls Manager, your expertise will guide the execution of medium-to-large-scale projects, making a significant impact on our growth and success.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive project control plans that guide the successful execution of each project.
- Set up and track project cost and schedule baselines, ensuring everything stays aligned with project objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Controls specialists and planners, providing guidance that helps them excel.
- Analyze cost and schedule variances, communicate findings clearly, and propose solutions to keep the project on track.
- Oversee the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures, ensuring work is organized and meets contractual requirements.
- Leverage earned value management principles to optimize project performance and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of proposals, manage project risks, and play an active role in global project control initiatives.
- Step in as the Project Manager when needed, ensuring continuity and smooth project execution.
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

**Basic Job Requirements**
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree, or similar with documented extensive experience in the field
- 15+ years of work related experience from medium
- to large sized international capital projects
- People management and leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Dutch is an advantage.
- Experience with Scrum, Lean, Agile Methodologies or willingness to learn in practice
- Flexibility to travel internationally for project assignments and in support of business-related matters
