The Opportunity:

Avantor is recruiting a motivated Sample Management Associate to join the team in Schiphol-Rijk. In this diverse position you’re responsible for receiving samples, preparing shipments, managing the inventory of materials and much more. You will work on a full-time basis at our customer site in Schiphol-Rijk. You will receive a contract for 1 year, transferred into a permanent one after a positive evaluation. Next to an attractive salary, we offer multiple benefits such as a pension scheme, commuting allowance, 13th month and bonus plan.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, flexible start time between 07:00 - 8:00 and finish time as of 16:00

The team

You’ll get to work in a supportive and hardworking team, consisting of 6 associates and belongs to our department Lab and Production Services. This department supports leading pharmaceutical companies and laboratories all over the world, in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.

What we’re looking for
- Education_: Bachelor education is preferred, depending on experience
- Experience_:

- In an administrative role
- In a GMP-environment is a plus
- Preferred qualifications:_
- Proficient in MS Office
- Effective communication skills in English; Dutch is an asset
- Knowledge of chemicals is a great asset
- Motivated, detail oriented and service minded
- Outgoing, pro-active and independent

How you will thrive and create an impact
- Receive samples from the sampling team
- Prepare equipment and make sure everything is available at all time
- Prepare shipments and check if all materials are present
- Manage the inventory of materials by placing orders and following up on these orders, in collaboration with the coordinator
- Manage certificates for analytical checks and other paperwork
