**Lease Manager**

We’re looking for someone with phenomenal technical knowledge of the commercial real estate market, phenomenal negotiation skills, and a passion for their industry. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a can-do demeanor who is able to stay ahead of the game and has excellent communication skills. You report to the Manager, Real Estate HQ, and work from one of our offices in Amsterdam.

**Data Analysis**

Proactively handle allocated lease transactions and transaction processes to drive the best possible value out of every single leasing deal. In coordination with regional (external) transaction managers, brokers, legal counsel, and internal collaborators. Find opportunities at transaction level to optimize real estate commitments, occupancy costs, quality of space and required flexibility in the real estate portfolio.

**Responsibilities**:
Strategic level (Portfolio Management):

- Build clear arguments, including financial data, commute data, deal outlines, and qualitative components supporting decision-making around real estate strategies at asset-level;
- Providing input to the Portfolio Manager on developing the Real Estate Strategy at asset-level.

Execution level (transaction management):

- Continuously update transaction and decision-making timelines and achievements;
- Coordinate longlist, shortlist and site visit process with all relevant collaborators;
- Prepare site evaluation packages for regional management;
- Together with the Portfolio manager, negotiate LOI and work letter alongside outside real estate broker and regional transaction managers.
- Together with the Portfolio manager, negotiate leases alongside outside Legal Counsel;
- Works with project managers to establish work letter and other fit-out-related lease content;
- Ownership of lease administration database and completeness;
- Providing input (reporting / data) to the Real Estate Finance analyst to build Portfolio reporting, looking at the full range of occupancy cost (incl. OM),.

Support and alignment (internal and external collaborators)
- Coordinate and align (FTF) internal collaborators as accounting, treasury, security, insurance and legal;
- Prepare and coordinate the execution of purchase orders, CLFs, and lease contracts;
- Highlight opportunities to improve process and collaborator alignment.

**Skills**:

- Over 5 years of specialist knowledge on commercial office lease contracts and real estate economics are required.
- Focus on details and have good experience in working with lease administration.s Systems.
- Strong ability to gather, analyse and present financial and qualitative data in arguments.
- Must be able to collaborate with others, have customer focused interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good project management skills and ability to drive progress. Confident independent worker, yet knows when to check in;
- Open and flexible attitude, allowing to work with a variety of cultures and personalities.
- The lease manager needs to have a sense of urgency and be able to adjust priorities every day.
- Consistent record in driving a high volume of transactions simultaneously.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
