**Logistics at full potential**

Are you an experienced Technician, with a passion for keeping maintenance tasks up to date and ensuring the equipment is in top condition? Do you enjoy the challenge of fixing equipment to help reduce downtime within a busy warehouse? Then we could have just the role for you We are looking for an experienced maintenance technician for our site in Tilburg.

**What will you do on a typical day**
- Performs maintenance on a timely basis with adequate recordkeeping
- Maintain supply of spare parts inventory
- Ensure equipment is started up properly at the beginning of the shift
- Maintain equipment in running order with mínimal downtime
- Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation
- Diagnose and make repairs as needed
- Maintain documentation of performance of preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usages and other documentation
- Ensure a safe working environment and all maintenance is done in a safe way
- Consciously dealing with the reduction of environmental impact in terms of waste, energy, water and fuel consumption
- You will work in a 2-shift system which includes weekends

**What you need to succeed at GXO**
- Intermediate Vocational Education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Effective communication skills in Dutch and English
- LEAN Warehousing
- Knowledge of machines, equipment, warehouse facilities, and maintenance and repair methods and procedures
- Experience in handling multiple projects and tight timelines
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and vehicle servicing
- Safety orientated
