As an Operational Purchaser, you play a crucial role in our company by ensuring smooth procurement processes. You will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish and ensuring that all materials and supplies are delivered on time and within budget.

**What will you do**
A day in the life of an Operational Purchaser is often dynamic and varied. You will work alongside a colleague purchaser under the guidance of the procurement team leader.
- Identifying suitable suppliers for mechanical and electronic components, often regionally but also within Europe
- Negotiating procurement terms, volume, prices, and delivery times.
- Managing the procurement process from quotation requests to delivery.
- Keeping procurement information up-to-date and accurate in SAP Business One (ERP)
- Monitoring orders and anticipating deviations from agreed terms.
- Resolving challenges or issues with suppliers.
- Analyzing the supply chain for risks, lead times, costs, and advising on make-or-buy decisions.
- Collaborating with planning, workshops, and engineering to understand and meet procurement needs.
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and identifying opportunities for supply chain improvement.

You are known for your sharp analytical skills. You can interpret complex data and identify trends to achieve cost savings. With your strong communication skills and determination, you always negotiate the best terms with suppliers. You are focused on achieving results. You set clear goals and work diligently to achieve them. As a team player, you can effectively collaborate with different departments to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
