**Position Summary**:

The role is part of the Customer Success organization and is responsible for technical aspects of the customer on-boarding and implementation processes as well as managing the longer-term technical aspects of the customer relationship.

You will be a technical consultant and trusted advisor for Pyramid Analytics customers. As an in-house Pyramid Analytics solutions specialist, you will drive the technical customer relationship and act as a customer advocate throughout their lifecycle. You’ll work to strategize, design and often implement technical solutions, working closely with both internal and external technical people during and after the sales process. This includes Pyramid’s internal support and development teams as well as the customer’s technical departments, business users and key executive stakeholders.

This position requires a very strong technical background, account management skills, and a track record of understanding customer business objectives and performing technical work as needed. You have a passion for problem-solving and painting the art of the possible.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take technical ownership of the entire customer lifecycle.
- Develop deep expertise with the platform to build a technical advisor relationship with customers and proactively conceptualize creative solutions to meet customers’ needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Success, Support, Data, Product, and Engineering teams to drive strategic success plans, QBRs, ERBs, and to secure next steps of support tickets and feature requests.
- Function as a vital link between our customers and internal teams to proactively run customer expectations, identify gaps, lead all aspects of client interaction, and provide enablement with devs/tech users.
- Build compelling technical demonstrations, presentations, and business value documents.
- Identify and resolve business/technical issues
- Assist customers with planning and execution of technical solution implementations and removing technical blockers.
- Accelerate onboarding and resolving technical issues encountered through the on boarding cycle
- Drive internal, technical projects, define requirements with internal stakeholder, implement changes on Pyramid internal tools, integrated tools and other integrations

**Requirement/Competencies**:

- Professional experience in pre-sales, Technical Account Management, Solution Architecture, and/or in similar customer-facing technical roles.
- Understanding and use of API’s (experience with Postman) for automation of clients tasks and embedding users content in the customers own site.
- Good client management skills, bias for action, taking accountability, a validated ability to perform hands-on technical work when needed, and ability to lead projects and global teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Being a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and an interest in quickly adapting to new tools fast (e.g. project planning tools, Gainsight, data-lakes, etc.)
- Understanding of value-based selling in customer-facing roles.

**Travel**:
This position may require up to 40% travel.

***Required Education and Experience**:

- Experience with web servers (like NGINX or IIS), Load balancers and DNS
- Working knowledge of authentication and SSO technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, SAML and JWT and/or OpenID.
- Experience and proficiency with Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu, RH, Debian or CENTOS)
- Experience with cloud vendors: AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience with working with SQL and underlying databases, specifically MS SQL, Postgres and/or Oracle
- Experience and high proficiency with JavaScript, REST APIs
- Speak English and German

**Preferred Education and Experience**:

- Experience with Kubernetes and containers
- Experience with Spark, Python or R
- Experience working with analytical tools like Pyramid (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Looker, Alteryx etc)
- Knowledge or experience with MDX and cubing technologies like Microsoft Analysis Services and/or SAP BW.
- A track record of implementing projects centered on business analytics or data science
