Cooperating Foreman, Dayshift

The family business Janus Vaten BV specialises in the production, sale and reconditioning of steel and plastic packaging. Due to expansion of our production, we are looking for a cooperating foreman, or as we call this position: assistant group leader.

**What does the position of assistant group leader look like?**:
As Assistant Group Leader, you support the Group Leader in the area of quality, quantity and effectiveness of the production team in the reconditioning process. Together with the group leader, you will determine how the entire team will be deployed that day, based on the daily production planning. You will have to be able to work flexibly and jump in where necessary. You start the day with your team and determine course and focus. During the day, you follow the staff, make adjustments, integrate new employees and pick up your own tasks in the production process. It communicates, consults and motivates with your colleagues in your team. You act as right-hand man for your group leader.

**What do you bring with you as a new colleague assistant Group Leader?**:

- Minimum MBO working and thinking level;
- Experience in co-managing a team;
- Knowledge in the field of Lean manufacturing is an advantage;
- You are proactive and have a flexible working attitude;
- You are aware of your role model every day;
- No 9 to 5 mentality;
- Realising the planning as a challenge, with an eye for people/your immediate colleagues.
- Command of the English language and also the Dutch language
