Merz Aesthetics has been around for over 112 years and is originally a German family business. By now, Merz Aesthetics has branches all over the world. The Benelux headquarters is in Oosterhout (Netherlands) and is primarily marketing & sales driven.

**The position**
The HR Officer is a versatile position (both operational and strategic) in a growing and ambitious international company with 35 employees. It could be a nice second or third step in your career because, on the one hand, you can really make a difference with your current knowledge and, on the other hand, you can grow together with the company. You are part of the Shared Services Operations Team and report into the HR Manager Benelux.

**Your responsibilities are**:

- Oversee the administration & coordination of the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- Execute various HR projects. This can vary from organizing a National Earth Day celebration in the office to drafting a health & safety policy for all employees.
- Executing the monthly payroll for the Netherlands & Belgium in collaboration with an external payroll partner.
- Responsible for correct personnel administration, such as processing contract extensions and managing the vehicle fleet.
- Partner with people managers to identify talent needs, participate in recruitment efforts, and ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
- Proactively address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and confidential manner, fostering a positive and trustful work environment for all employees
- Collaborate with HR colleagues throughout EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).

**We ask of you**:

- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources.
- Relevant work experience in a similar role (preferably in an international setting).
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
- Available for a minimum of 32 hours.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- High sense of responsibility

You must live within an acceptable travel distance from our office in Oosterhout (Netherlands).
