**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As Head of Sustainability, based in our headquarters in Schijndel (NL), you are responsible for developing and implementing the Bolsius sustainability strategy, ensuring that the company operates in an environmentally and socially responsible manner in line with our ambitious targets. You drive sustainability initiatives, collaborate across departments, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

You work closely with senior management to align sustainability goals with overall business objectives. You report to the CEO, you are part of the management team and you lead the Sustainability team.

It is your primary responsibility further develop & implement the Bolsius Sustainability Strategy, identify opportunities & challenge the status quo. You set measurable targets and you integrate sustainability into the company’s strategy, operations and culture.

Aligned with this responsibility, lead cross-functional teams to drive sustainability initiatives/projects. You act as a internal and external spokesperson for the company on sustainability matters and you lead the engagement and training of employees. Stakeholder management (customers, suppliers, regulators, NGOs, industry groups, etc.) and advocacy with key parties is therefore also part of your job.
Additionally, you develop and oversee the implementation of metrics to track the company’s sustainability performance in line with CSRD and our reduction targets, you own the B Corp recertification and you lead reporting/presentation to senior management and the Board of Directors.

You support our marketing and R&D teams with your insights. You translate trends, technologies and best practices for Bolsius. You lead carbon footprint reduction, energy efficiency, and responsible usage of resources. You assess risks related to environmental impact, resource scarcity, and climate change to protect Bolsius.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
You are passionate about sustainability and have deep & up to date knowledge about it. You hold a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability or related field. You have 7-10 years of experience in sustainability with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. You bring a proven track record of setting & implementing strategies in a corporate setting. You have in-depth knowledge of sustainability principles & regulations and industry best practices. You are experienced in sustainability related certifications and standards (e.g. B Corp, SEDEX, SBTi and CSRD). You have good knowledge of processes and procedures across commercial & supply chain areas.
You are an effective communicator, you can manage projects and set priorities. If you can manage risks, you have stamina and a problem-solving attitude, you are the one we are looking for. You are fluent in English and (basic) Dutch is helpful. Some travel will be required.
