- A salary starting from €2.252 - €2.371 (full time);

**What will be your role?**
As a Bartender at Taiko Bar, you will join a team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional cocktails and food pairings to our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, inspiring guests with our international cocktail menu and Asian-inspired dishes, creating cocktails, waiting tables, and settling bills. With your personal approach, you will ensure that guests feel welcome and eager to return for another taste of Taiko. As the menu of Taiko changes with per season, every few months you get the chance to co-create new cocktails together with the team.

With excellent service from some of Amsterdam’s best bartenders, supreme bites from Taiko Cuisine, and a cocktail menu that evokes the speakeasies of Roppongi, Taiko Bar offers a welcoming and casual setting. On weekends, DJs bring a club-like atmosphere and promise our guests memorable experiences with friends. Taiko Bar captures the sophisticated nightlife of Bangkok, Tokyo, and Shanghai, translating it into the intimate, cozy setting of an Amsterdam neighbourhood bar.

We believe the secret to Taiko Bar’s success lies in our special attention to each guest and our ability to respond effortlessly to their needs. As a team, we delight in finding harmonious flavour combinations and creating an atmosphere filled with happy, satisfied guests. Please note that the bar closes after midnight, so late-night availability is a must for this role.

**Who are we looking for?**
Our ideal Bartender is passionate and determined, with an open personality and a love for lively conversation and teamwork. You thrive under pressure and bring the following qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position in a cocktail
- or hotel bar;
- Proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus);
- Knowledge of classic cocktails and a keen interest in learning about Asian-inspired cocktails;
- Availability for late-evening shifts.
