About the job

You will generate knowledge regarding drivers for different formulas powder properties, i.e Food Specific Medical Purpose (FSMP) and Early Life Nutrition (ELN) powder. Conduct powder analysis and deep dive into process data from various factories to understand those factors which influence powder product physical properties and consumer bottle preparation experience.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Creating literature review on specific powder quality and existing in-house analytical methods
- Analysing data and generating hypotheses for statistical correlation
- Comparing production processes of different FSMP & ELN powders across multiple factories to identify process steps that lead to sub-optimal powder properties
- Creating a database of current portfolio under study
- Writing a report with clear conclusions, recommendation and next steps

About you
As a Process Application intern, **connecting process with ingredients / recipe and data driven **will be second nature to you. You are detail-oriented, not afraid to take initiatives, and bring your own ideas forward and have experience with powder analysis and statistical data interpretation. On top of that? You’re able to tackle tasks autonomously and work as a valuable team member, who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

- Enrolled as a Bachelors/master’s student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
- Ideally available to start in January for a minimum of 9 -12 months;
- You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
- You are able to work from Utrecht, at least 3-5 times per week;
- Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

**We Offer**

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
- Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
