We are looking for an experienced Group Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of the operational business and drive the company's financial strategy & planning. The Group Director of Finance contributes to the overall success of the group by effectively managing all operational financial tasks of the organization. When holding this role, overseeing all regional financial aspects of the company strategy is part of your responsibility, as well as maintaining the flow of financial information to the VP Finance, CEO and Group Directors. This role will be based in **Barcelona**.

**This is what you’re going to do**
- Managing our Regional Finance teams, including Purchasing and Cost Control
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Overseeing and controlling business unit budgets of the hotels, restaurants and management companies
- Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
- Interpret the company's financial results to all stakeholders involved and recommend improvement activities
- Compile key business metrics and report on them to all stakeholders involved
- Monitor development of newly acquired projects and guide the transition process to incorporate the project into the organization
- Building and monitoring the budget on a monthly basis

You work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment with people from different cultures and backgrounds. As a result, you always keep an overview, are able to set priorities and think in solutions rather than problems.
- Bachelor or University degree in Management Accounting, Corporate Finance or related studies.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Finance Management and an Area Manager position within the Hospitality industry.
- Excellent hands-on knowledge of current accounting systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English; both verbal and written.
- Ability to set targets and motive and inspire a team to achieve these targets.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities under high pressure.
- Available for occasional travel.
