Als Financial controller zorg jij samen met je 5 collega’s voor de financiële administratie. Jij krijgt werkgeluk om uitdaging en variatie in je werk te hebben en in een fijne sfeer te werken. Complexe bedrijfsstructuren vind jij een uitdaging en maakt je werk alleen maar interessanter. Ontwikkeling staat hoog op je lijstje, samen met goede secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden.

Veolia heeft een zeer dynamische financiële afdeling en is op zoek naar mensen die graag in deze dynamiek aan de slag willen.
Hoe ziet jouw dag eruit als Financial Controller bij Veolia Nederland?
Je start tijdens je inwerkperiode op ons hoofdkantoor op Schiphol Rijk, waarbij je dagelijks wordt begeleid door je direct leidinggevende en overige collega’s. Op termijn bestaat de mogelijkheid om in overleg met je manager enkele dagen per week vanuit huis te kunnen gaan werken. Iedereen heeft zijn eigen maandelijks terugkerende taken, maar daarnaast zijn er ook ad-hoc werkzaamheden onderdeel van je takenpakket. Je prioriteiten zijn dan ook afhankelijk van waar je in de maand bent.
Hieronder een greep uit het takenpakket:
- Consolidatie van cijfers zowel op maand als jaarbasis;
- Samenstel geconsolideerde jaarrekeningen van de groep (Energietransitie als Circulaire Economie divisies);
- Zorg dragen voor opvolging van accountants vragen gericht op jaareinde en interimcontroles;
- Werkzaamheden m.b.t maand/kwartaal afsluitingen;
- Beheer van IFRS 16 leasing tool & bijbehorende reconciliaties;
- Verantwoordelijk voor accurate en volledige balans dossiervorming;
- Maandelijkse journaalposten;
- Reconciliëren van balansposten;
- Intercompany doorbelastingen en rapportages;
- Btw-rondrekeningen;
- Aansluiten Loonjournaalposten (controle financiële administratie versus loonadministratie);
- Volledige en accurate omzetverantwoording vanuit contract facturatie;
- Energiebelasting aangiftes en rondrekeningen;
- Factoring & bijbehorende rapportages.
Omdat Veolia uit verschillende werkmaatschappijen bestaat is de financiële administratie erg complex. Het teamgevoel staat hoog binnen de afdeling en je hebt dan ook een aantal momenten per week dat je bij elkaar zit om te kijken of er iemand hulp nodig heeft zodat de deadlines behaald worden. Tevens heb je regelmatig bilateraal overleg met je manager inzake je voortgang. Je ziet aan je takenlijst dat geen dag hetzelfde is. Ondanks de maandelijks terugkerende taken, maakt de complexiteit van de functie dat elke dag weer een uitdaging is. Daarbij nodigt de open cultuur bij Veolia je uit om proactief mee te denken en initiatieven te ontplooien, waardoor jij je als een vis in het water voelt. De mogelijkheden zijn grenzeloos
**DE ORGANISATIE**:
Veolia is al ruim 40 jaar actief in Nederland en ondersteunt haar klanten in de sectoren voeding, chemie, olie en gas, onderwijs, gezondheidszorg en lokale overheden. Om een circulaire en meer duurzame economie te realiseren werken ze met hun klanten samen om schaarse hulpbronnen te beheren maar ook door deze bronnen zo efficiënt mogelijke te benutten. Denk aan de transformatie van slib in bioplastic of de omzetting van koffiedik in een brandstofbron, met als doel het leveren van nutsdiensten.
Via de hun unieke ervaring op het gebied van bedrijfsvoering, techniek en technologie verminderen ze de milieubelasting van de activiteiten van hun klanten en helpen ze tegelijkertijd industriële bedrijven, dienstverlenende organisaties en de publieke sector om op een efficiëntere wijze te opereren.
**LOCATIE**:
Het dynamische kantoor van Veolia bevindt zich in het bruisende Schiphol-Rijk, Nederland. Donderdag is een gezamenlijke kantoor dag en thuiswerken behoort tot de mogelijkheden.
**WAT BIEDEN ZIJ JOU?**
- Een salaris tussen € 3.800;
- en € 4.600, - bruto per maand o.b.v. een fulltime dienstverband conform CAO Klein metaal;
- Jaarcontract met het voornemen tot een contract voor onbepaalde tijd;
