As Strategic Calibration Planning Lead within the Calibration department, you are responsible for strategic planning and status reporting of calibration activities in our engine and after treatment development projects As Line Lead Engineer within the Calibration department, you are responsible for planning and status reporting of calibration activities in our engine and after treatment development projects.
Your responsibilities and goals:
- Make master plans, scenario plans, see how different projects impact each other, etc.;
- Prioritize and plan calibration activities, and adjust the planning to disturbances;
- Streamline calibration procedures with expert input from the team;
- Monitor quality and status of relevant Key Performance Indicators;
- Help form a team that takes ownership for in-time and calibration deliveries that meet all applicable targets and constraints;
- Report out status, at any time, always.
Daily activities are in close cooperation with members from all of the Global Engine Calibration teams in Eindhoven and North America, and the Engine Test Center in Eindhoven.
In this role, you report to the Engineering Supervisor Emission Calibration, and align on daily activities also with the other Calibration Supervisors, Line Leads and the Project Lead Engineer(s). The Engine Integration department is responsible for definition, development and calibration of engine and after treatment families towards performance and regulatory requirements. The department is split into 9 groups. The Calibration department holds a vacancy for a Line Lead Engineer Calibration Planning. To succeed as a Line Lead Engineer Calibration Planning you have a completed Bachelor or Master in Mechanical of Automotive engineering.
You also bring:
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience;
- Basic knowledge of engine and aftertreatment emissions calibration;
- Excellent planning and re-planning skills;
- Good English skills, Dutch skills are a plus;
- Experience with working in multidisciplinary teams, a plus.

- Planning skills, to get the most out of our integrated planning;
- Clear communication, verbally, in writing, and while presenting;
- Initiative, to (have) identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and improve our engine and after treatment calibration;
