A financial business analyst Manufacturing within the Business Insights & Control (BI&C) Innovation and Supporting department is using financial data (models) to create business insights to control costs and together with finance business partners provides financial forecasts. You understand how to gather and interpret data and communicate this in a transparent way to your stakeholders.
**Role and responsibilities**
As Manufacturing Business analyst you are responsible for driving the factory business through efficient and effective financial reporting and analysis of the operational expenditures, while making use of different data sources. Your goal is to provide relevant insights to finance business partners and business counterparts via recurring reporting, ad hoc requests and projects for specific sectors. Furthermore you support in companywide requests and financial planning processes. You will be responsible for:
- Translating generic OPEX data into business driven and transparent forecasts
- Drive the total OPEX forecasting and budgeting data for manufacturing on which you also report
- Provide proactive support to the finance business partners, finance leadership and business counterparts
- Contribute in and actively seek for improvements in our current processes and reporting
**Education and experience**
- Master degree, preferably in Business Economics
- At least 3-6 years relevant experience in finance
- For a thorough analysis, you have SAP knowledge and excellent excel skills
- Large amounts of data are no problem for you.
- Experience / knowledge of (financial) data modelling and mainstream BI, as well as experience in Financial Planning cycles is an advantage.

**Other information**
The job is part of the ASML finance organization, within the Business Insights & Control team. The financial business analyst reports to the Manager R&D, OPEX and FTE within the BI&C department. He/she interacts with various departments in and outside of finance.
