**What is the position?**

For our Supply Chain team in Enschede, we are looking for a Senior Import/Export Planner. The position reports to Europe Transport Manager and is responsible for managing permits and licenses from customs authorities, compliance of submissions to customs and set-up and maintenance of the software tools to be used for customs declaration and related activities. Additionally you also plan export and import containers & trucks while taking care of all necessary administration and customs clearance. The role needs to ensure that information is sent to stakeholders on time, execute loading and unloading, and manage data in SAP.

You will work closely together with colleagues from warehouses, F&A and Sales across Europe. You also need to be in close contact with carriers, customs authorities, chamber of commerce, and IT suppliers.

**What are the responsibilities?**

(1) Planning Export
Plan outbound shipments, release picking orders to warehouse and inform carriers and Sales Office about planned deliveries.
Take care of customs clearance for export shipments using Customs Controller.
Check and approve freight invoices.
Inform all stakeholders about status of deliveries and shipments

(2) Planning Import

Plan inbounds of finished goods to regional distribution centers. planning results with carriers and warehouse administration

(3) Customs management
Responsible for compliant and correct administration
Review and manage all licenses from authorities related to customs clearance
Take care of correct archiving of import and export documents

**Do you have what it takes? (requirements)**

Bachelor or master degree in logistics, supply chain management or (technical) business administration.
Customs declarant education
At least 5 years of experience in in import and export administration, 2 years in customs clearance
Knowledge of OTM, SAP SD
Fluent in English and Dutch.
Good stakeholder management and problem solving skills.
Flexible, structured and pro-active.
