Wij zijn dé oog-experts, een groeiend internationaal high tech familiebedrijf met vestigingen in 7 landen. We ontwikkelen en produceren implantaten en disposable accessoires en verkopen deze aan oogartsen op het hoogst mogelijke niveau. Toch zie je bij ons ook de Groningse nuchterheid: CEO Erik Jan Worst zwaait je ’s ochtends tegemoet vanuit zijn kantoor.

**Jouw nieuwe team**

De afdeling productie is gericht op het tijdig, efficiënt en op kwalitatief hoog niveau maken van intra-oculaire lenzen. Er wordt nauw samengewerkt om efficiënt te werken en flexibel zijn als dat nodig is.

**De functie**

Als operator medical device bedien je diverse machines binnen onze productieomgeving. Je voert de werkzaamheden op een dusdanige wijze uit dat alles aan hoge normen voldoet. Het werk is voor een groot gedeelte handmatig van aard en vanachter een microscoop.

Niet alleen dat vraagt scherpte en nauwkeurigheid. Belangrijke aspecten van het werk zijn het correct volgen van voorgeschreven procedures, instructies en richtlijnen, het vastleggen van productie activiteiten, het uitvoeren van inspecties op het product (de lens) en het actief bijdragen aan verbetering.

Ook vindt er in toenemende mate een uitwisseling plaats met Logistiek. De operator functie is biedt daarmee veel dynamiek, afwisseling en ruimte voor individuele groei.

Uiteraard beheers je dit niet zomaar. Er ligt een goed inwerktraject klaar waarbij je wegwijs wordt gemaakt in de aanwezige processen en technieken. Zo word je gaandeweg breed inzetbaar op de productielijnen. Van hieruit specialiseer je je in een of meer onderdelen van het productieproces zoals technieken, kwaliteitscontrole, coaching, coördinatie, etc.

**Wat verwachten wij (verder) van jou?**
- Een technische georiënteerde opleiding op mínimaal MBO-3 of 4 niveau, bij voorkeur fijnmechanica, werktuigbouwkunde of elektrotechniek, chemie of life sciences.
- Enkele jaren ervaring als Operator of Technicus én de ambitie om als Operator verder te groeien. De functie is uitermate geschikt voor iemand die al ervaring heeft en toe is aan een nieuwe uitdaging in een andere omgeving,
- Je bent een pragmatische teamspeler, maar ook kwaliteitsgericht, detaillistisch van nature en nauwkeurig ingesteld.
- Ervaring met het werken vanuit werkvoorschriften en procedures is gewenst.
- Ervaring in de farmaceutische of medical device industrie, met GMP, kwaliteitssystemen (ISO) en Lean is een pré.
- Communicatief vaardig, met een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal. Engels is een pré.
