**Job Description Marketing Communicator DACH**

The role of a Marketing Communicator is crucial for driving marketing initiatives within the market supporting the local sales strategy and activities. Responsibilities include supervising digital marketing activities and graphic production of sales materials targeted to different key stakeholders. This involves producing materials such as presentations, local campaigns when needed, social media content, project reference information, press releases and local web news, invitations to customer events. You are responsible for both copywriting and graphic design of different medias supporting key local activities.

To excel in the role of Marketing Communicator, the person should be a proactive, responsible, and independent individual with strong execution skills. A preference for digital marketing, organisational structure, and strong visual expression is desired.

While the role involves certain creative aspects, the major design and creation tasks are managed by Fagerhults Belysning (Habo). Thus, to be comfortable with working within a defined graphical framework, often with limited room for personal ideas and opinions, is essential. Nevertheless, some work tasks and local material demands a certain degree of creativity.

The role tends to be more operational than strategic, sometimes involving repetitive assignments (e.g., proofreading) demanding meticulous attention to detail.

As a Marketing Communicator, effective prioritization in the face of a potentially heavy workload is crucial. Often, the Marketing Communicator functions as the sole marketing representative within a market, necessitating a high degree of autonomy to drive projects and fulfil tasks.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate closely and act as marketing go-to-person for the sales team and follow-up on local marketing needs.
- Local marketing spokesperson - act as marketing representative between local market and Fagerhults Belysning (Habo).
- Take responsibility for creating and managing local Marketing strategy based on Fagerhult global strategy.
- Responsible for creating a local marketing plan to continue to build brand awareness and meet sales targets.
- Manage local marketing budget.
- Maintain and update the website (on a local level) by following the globally defined guidelines.
- Adapting and producing graphic marketing material, including local adaptions of ads, brochures and mail banners. Creating own graphic material on a local level.
- Manage Social Media (LinkedIn/Instagram) via Hootsuite. Creating/posting local content and posting locally adapted global content.
- Write local Press Releases (Mynewsdesk) and news articles for our website on market relevant topics to build Thought leadership. Translating/proof reading global marketing material and content.
- Producing Newsletters, via LinkedIn or CRM. Manage CRM send lists, campaigns and leads follow-up
- Assist sales representatives with relevant presentation materials.
- Adapt centrally produced Sales presentations (Powerpoint) to fit local market.
- Assume responsibility for (plan and manage) various event types, including sales conferences, customer events, and trade shows, including producing the marketing material needed.
- Feed local media with product news and information, according to need.
- Plan and manage local webinars according to need (Zoom).
- Plan and book local ads in relevant media channels.
- Plan and order giveaways according to local need.

**Profile**
- Relevant work experience in marketing and communications
- Minimum University of Applied Sciences or Fachhochschule
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and the local language (Dutch is an advantage)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
- Experience or enthusiasm for social media platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Basic web CMS knowledge (Optimizely).
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
