We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Cook to join our high-end Italian restaurant, VENTUNO. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standards, overseeing a section of the kitchen, and assisting the Sous Chef in managing daily functions. **Responsibilities**
- prepare and cook menu items in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all dishes are of the highest quality;
- supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring that they follow all recipes and procedures correctly;
- maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations;
- communicate effectively with kitchen staff, front-of-house team, and suppliers;
- ensure that all food ingredients and supplies are properly stored and rotated;
- participate in menu planning and recipe development;
- maintain knowledge of new cooking techniques and ingredients;
- handle and resolve any kitchen-related issues in a professional and efficient manner.

**Requirements**:

- proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end restaurant or lounge setting;
- culinary skills and knowledge of Italian cuisine, with the ability to prepare and cook a wide range of dishes excellently and consistently;
- ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
- organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
- ability to lead and manage junior kitchen staff;
- interpersonal and communication skills;
- passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes;
- ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
