We are looking for a Cooperating Foreman to join our 4 Stoke Component Workshop team in Schiedam, The Netherlands. This position will report to the Team Lead 4 Stroke Operations.
The Cooperating Foreman will support the Team Leader with the authority to check and sign off inspection reports and quality checks. He will also have a supportive role to assist the mechanics with their daily technical issues and questions and take over tasks of the team leaders during absence.
The Cooperating Foreman will not be responsible for the development discussions and achievement reviews of the mechanics team.
**Your key responsibilities are**:
- Be a point of contact for shopfloor mechanics regarding technical issues and questions.
- Assess the condition of engine parts and recommend on repairs to the Team Leader and Workshop Coordinator
- Advise mechanics (mentoring) to the correct way of working within the workshop.
- Assist Team leader with checking and approving of inspection reports and quality checks.

- Strong knowledge of the way of working & processes in the 4 Stroke Components Workshop
- Ability to maintain an overview of all ongoing projects in the workshop.
- Ability to switch quickly between several projects and be flexible in work.

- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
