Het team en de rolDe advocaten uit de Restructuring & Insolvency (R&I) groep van Stibbe worden regelmatig benoemd tot bewindvoerder in surseances van betaling en curator in faillissementen. Wij opereren aan de top van de markt en richten ons op complexe faillissementen. Zo zijn we curator van Amsterdam Trade Bank N.V., Nyenburgh Holding B.V.,., Perry Sport B.V. en Aktiesport B.V. Daarnaast behandelen we ook faillissementen van kleine en middelgrote bedrijven.

Om onze R&I-groep te versterken zijn we op zoek naar een faillissementsmedewerker (staff associate bankruptcies). Het team bestaat momenteel uit 8 advocaten, 2 faillissementsmedewerkers en diverse assistants. De R&I-groep is onderdeel van de praktijkgroep Litigation die bestaat uit meer dan 35 advocaten, 1 Professional Support Lawyer en meer dan 10 assistants.

De faillissementsmedewerker is een spil in de afwikkeling van faillissementen. In alle faillissementen werkt de faillissementsmedewerker samen met één of meerdere advocaten en andere leden van het team. De faillissementsmedewerker heeft, zeker in kleinere faillissementen, een grote mate van autonomie.

**De werkzaamheden zijn divers en omvatten onder meer het volgende**:

- De faillissementsmedewerker onderhoudt schriftelijk en mondeling contact met crediteuren, werknemers en debiteuren van de failliet;
- De faillissementsmedewerker beoordeelt de geldigheid van vorderingen;
- De faillissementsmedewerker werkt aan de verkoop van activa van de failliet;
- De faillissementsmedewerker verwerkt boedelbetalingen;
- De faillissementsmedewerker werkt aan onderzoek naar de oorzaken van het faillissement en eventuele onregelmatigheden en bereidt

crediteurenvergaderingen voor;
- De faillissementsmedewerker onderhoudt contacten met de rechtbank en met collega’s van diverse ondersteunende afdelingen;
- De faillissementsmedewerker levert een grote bijdrage aan de periodieke openbare verslaglegging.

**Wie zoeken wij?**

We zijn op zoek naar een kandidaat met HBO/WO werk
- en denkniveau, aangevuld met mínimaal twee jaar relevante werkervaring in een vergelijkbare, zakelijke omgeving. Je hebt een uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel in woord als geschrift. Daarnaast heb je een goede beheersing van Microsoft Office.
- HBO of WO werk
- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur HBO Rechten of HBO Management Economie en Recht
- Enthousiast, proactief, goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een can do mentaliteit;
- Ervaring als faillissementsmedewerker is een pré, maar niet noodzakelijk.
