As a **Junior Model Maker** within an architectural studio, you bring visionary 3D concepts to life through intricate physical scale models.

As a **Junior Model Maker** within an architectural studio, you bring visionary 3D concepts to life through intricate physical scale models. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, creative individual to work on a diverse range of projects, from masterplans and buildings to interiors and product designs. As part of our small, close-knit team, you’ll have the chance to directly impact our design process and grow your professional skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.
**The Requirements**:
- Work permit in The Netherlands
- Relevant experience is a plus, internship or related studies
- Passion for design and hands-on fabrication - by far the most important quality.
- Strong understanding of 3D space and scale.
- Proficiency with various materials and both machine and hand tools.
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D software (e.g., Rhino 3D, AutoCAD) is a plus; willingness to learn new tools.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team.
- Fluent in English.**The Position**:
- Craft high-quality models using a wide variety of materials, including wood, plastic, and sustainable options like cork and paper.
- Operate and maintain tools and machines, including 3D printers (SLS, SLA, FDM) and laser cutters.
- Collaborate with designers to translate 3D concepts into tangible models, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Occasionally oversee interns, guiding them in their model-making tasks.
