**About us**

In this versatile role, you will be a key linchpin in supporting the CFO Benelux. You are the backbone of the financial operations within the Benelux organisation. You will be responsible for managing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier accounts and ensuring timely payments.

**About the job**
- Responsible for leading and managing all financial activities for all Dutch entities
- Manage month-end closing and monthly reporting of financial figures
- Preparing account reconciliations and explaining and correcting discrepancies
- Supervise compliance with legal requirements (based on local GAAP) and coordinate audits with the aim of having zero audit adjustments
- Prepare and support the statutory annual report
- Lead the Finance Operations team
- Oversee and contribute to the development of the internal control framework
- Further improve the internal control framework, including internal policies and proxy and related reporting to the shareholder
- Prepare cash flow forecast for month and year
- Assist in further improving tax regulations (CIT, VAT, Transfer Pricing) and the tax framework
- Act as a sparring partner for the other Business Controllers, the Group Financial Controller, FP&A manager and Country man

**About you**
- At least 10 years' work experience in an international (Big-4 or corporate) environment
- Master's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Experience with GAAP and IFRS
- Hands-on capabilities to implement quickly and effectively by taking ownership
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- A team player with communication and social skills
- A very precise eye with attention to detail, an analytical mind, always striving for the best result
- Great IT skills: Excel and accounting software (an advantage if you have worked with Microsoft Dynamics)
