We believe that money can change the world for the better. In fact, our organisation was founded on this belief. Our mission is to create a society that protects and promotes the quality of life of all its members with human dignity at its core.
The team _Impact & Economics _does research into sustainability transitions and macroeconomics. The knowledge acquired here helps shape the policies of Triodos Bank in our mission to finance change but is also shared with other interested people in an effort to change finance. We mostly do this through written pieces, from sharp columns to extensive vision papers and oral presentations.
Starting in November, we will complement these distribution channels with a weekly podcast. In this podcast we will discuss sustainability transitions and current affairs. In episodes of less than 30 minutes a host will talk to Chief Economist Hans Stegeman and a rotating guest to answer one overarching questions and discuss current affairs. Questions we might discuss are:
- Can the economy shrink without rising poverty?
- Why should we protect biodiversity and how can we?
