**About the position**:
As a Junior Buyer, you will support the procurement process by assisting in sourcing & purchasing. This role provides an opportunity to further develop skills in procurement, negotiation, and supplier management while contributing to the efficient operation of the organization's supply chain.

**Position Scope**:
32-40 hours a week.

**Location**:
Best. There is an option of working once or twice a week in Utrecht.

Your challenge:

- **Sourcing Assistance**: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers for goods and services required by the company. Research and gather information on vendors, products, and market trends to support decision-making.
- ** Purchase Order Management**: Assist in creating and managing purchase orders for the procurement of goods and services. Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, track delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- ** Supplier Communication**: Maintain regular communication with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of products. Act as a point of contact for supplier inquiries and requests for information.
- ** Documentation and Record-Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, pricing and supplier information.
- ** Vendor Management System**:Set up and manage a vendor management system for MRP related supplies.
- ** Market Research and Analysis**: Assist in conducting market research to identify potential suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities. Stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting procurement activities. Set up and manage monthly reporting on various product categories.

What you'll need:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field, preferably in an internship or entry-level role.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
