ABN AMRO's Corporate Finance department is seeking passionate and talented graduates to join our exceptional 3-year traineeship program. We offer a unique opportunity to develop your skills as a well-rounded investment banker, all while working on exciting transactions across diverse industries.

**Corporate Finance**:
ABN AMRO Corporate Finance is a leading strategic and financial advisor and provides a wide range of investment banking services. The department is located in Amsterdam and is divided into two sector-agnostic teams (M&A Execution and Capital Structuring & Advisory) and various M&A sector advisory teams.

The sector teams focus on five overarching themes: New Energies, Digital & Consumer, Mobility & Manufacturing, Financial Institutions, and Shipping. Our department consists of circa 80 colleagues and supports our clients on a daily basis with strategic and financial advice.
ABN AMRO's unique Corporate Finance talent programme includes 2 years of M&A rotations in various sector teams and 1 year of rotations in other departments within the wider Corporate Bank. At ABN AMRO, you will be closely involved with each respective team from the start, be in daily contact with both internal and external stakeholders, and you will work with clients during the execution phase of deals.

**Start date**
The Nyenrode 5-week training course is organised twice a year, in March and in September. However, we facilitate a flexible start date throughout the year.

**What you'll do**:

- Execute impactful transactions, providing tailored advice and solutions to our corporate clients.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Develop your Corporate Finance expertise through financial analysis, presentations, and stakeholder management.
- Become a all-round investment banker and broaden your network by working across various teams, including Equity Capital Markets and Acquisition & Leveraged Finance.

**Who you are**:

- A Master’s degree upon start of the traineeship. We welcome applicants with diverse study backgrounds so please be aware that a financial or economic degree is not a requirement
- Completed a large-cap M&A internship
- Highly motivated and convincing intrinsic motivation to work in Corporate Finance and at ABN AMRO specifically.
- Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and empathetic with excellent communication skills. (both verbally and written).
- Thrive in a collaborative and social work environment with (plenty of) social activities.
