***THE OPPORTUNITY**:
As a Head of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Demand Management MIDI - Animal Health you will be responsible for leading the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE), and Replenishment Planning for Animal Health. You will be responsible for managing a seamless supply chain across countries and region. Your role will also involve providing governance, spearheading optimization projects, and challenging assumptions to support business objectives. You will have 7 direct reports and interface with various functions such as sales, marketing, commercial operations, finance, quality departments, and general managers.

This position is based in Amsterdam and reports directly to the Head of Commercial Supply Chain MIDI.

**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Oversight and management of Animal Health S&OP and S&OE processes**:

- Ensure demand consensus and manage replenishment in line with forecasts.
- Align forecasts with global supply chain contacts.
- Conduct scenario-based planning for informed decision-making.
- Maintain stock and service levels to meet annual targets.Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.

**Alignment with Animal Health Marketing, Sales, and Finance stakeholders**:

- Adopt a strategic cross-functional approach for optimal performance.Act as a Commercial Supply Chain business partner at both the OPU and MIDI levels.

**Steering complex, cross-cultural Sales and Operations Process**:

- Ensure strategic alignment and transparent communication within the highly regulated Animal Health sector.
- Focus on product supply, process optimization, and stakeholder negotiation.Maintain harmony between global supply directives and local operational policies.

**WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration, or economics, MSc/MBA is advantageous.
- At least 4 years of working experience in Sales and Operations Planning.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Effective negotiator and presenter.
- Demonstrated crisis management skills and ability to deliver under uncertain and high-pressure conditions.
- Knowledge of finance and controlling concepts (e.g., P&L, COGS).
- Process leading skills for complex, cross-functional, and strategic initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP APO.
- Proficiency in MS Office package, especially PowerPoint and MS Excel for analytics and mass data processing.
- (Indirect) leadership experience is considered a plus.
- Certificates in APICS are preferred.
