Vendor Quality Manager

For the Raw Materials Purchasing team, we are looking for a Vendor Quality Manager based in Amsterdam. Main purpose of the jobs is to achieve the Quality management standards for Raw Materials for Europe operations by working with the RM suppliers and internally with R&D and Quality, Manufacturing teams.

**Main responsibilities**

1. To ensure the Quality System Requirements compliance in the Apollo Supply Chain
- a. REACH/ SVHC/PAH compliance - Supplier declarations
b. Quality certification status of RM suppliers
c. Supplier code of conduct - Supplier acceptance
d. Conflict of minerals

2. Plan and conduct Vendor Audit and implement action plan as per audit observations.

3. Complete Periodic Supplier Assessment and communicate to the RM Suppliers

4. Work with the Supplier on Improvement Plans based on the Audit and Ratings

5. Raw Material Quality Issue Redressal with the Suppliers

6. Compilation and circulation of the MIS on Vendor Quality

7. Work with RM suppliers on the OEM requirements like PPAP, REACH, Conflict of Materials, and IMDS, MSDS etc.

8. Participate in OEM customer audits, other plant quality audits like CCC, IATF, VDA etc

**KPIs and Dimensions**

**RM Quality Management System**
1) RM specification acceptance from RM vendors: To identify and take up open issues with RM&CD and Buyers for mutual resolution.
(2) Define Plan & lay down a plan for RM supplier readinesss for REACH and other related compliances
(3) PPAP : Coordinate PPAP approval for new development with buying team

**RM Quality**
Working on Supplier Quality Issues using the TQM methodology
Vendor-Raw Material evaluations with Ppk > 1.67 (as per target)
Reduction in RM Quality rejections as per targets

**Vendor Audits**
(1) Conduct vendor audits as per audit calendar and issue audit closure letter within 6 months of the audit date (2) Vendors with audit rating A (as per target)

**Vendor Assessment**
(1) To compute and communicate vendor ratings as per defined frequency (2) Vendor Performance Improvement Plan - to be obtained from vendors as applicable

**MIS reports**
Vendor Quality Report
Rejection Analysis
QMS MIS - Monthly
RM variability (Ppk) trends

**Skills and Knowledge requirements**

**Qualifications**: B Tech / B.E., Bsc. M.Tech, M.B.A

**Experience**: Minimum 12 years in Vendor Quality domain

**Knowledge**

1. Knowledge on Quality System standards - ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949 / 14001

2. Knowledge on quality tools like Six sigma, 7QC tools, Core tools, Problem solving techniques.

3. Knowledge on Quality Documentation requirements - PPAP

**Skills**

1. Certified Auditor programme like Internal Audit Programme on - ISO/IATF 16949. (mandatory) - VDA 6.3. (mandatory)
