The Job
As Capacity Controller, you will work closely with your colleagues from the Stock Control and Order Processing departments. Where they are responsible for generating orders for the operation, it is up to Capacity Control to allocate these and give them the right priority. You have a steering role towards the operation.
Together with sales, you are also responsible for the forecast and the associated capacity planning. This determines the personnel planning.
As Capacity Controller, you also monitor our WCS (Warehouse Control System), where you keep an eye on the daily flow and signal and take action in time. In doing so, you work together with the flow controllers who ensure a smooth-running process in the operation and you interact with the team leads for an optimal balance.
All in all, a role in which you must be able to think ahead, take the interests of the customers into account and be able to liaise with many departments. In addition, you must not be afraid to work with us to make this department a success. In this role, you will report to the operations excellence manager.
Your Mission
- Drawing up operational capacity planning in cooperation with Sales capacity coordinator
- Drawing up forecasts for personnel planning
- Coordinating workload with Team leads and coordinators
- Prioritising assignments
- Jointly setting up and using WCS (Warehouse Control System)
- Monitoring and directing various processes in the operation
- Managing Flow Controllers
Your Talent
- A bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration or a related discipline
- At least 3 years' work experience in a similar role
- Mature discussion partner at all levels
- Command of the English language, Dutch is not required
- Affinity with logistics systems and processes
- You have sense of responsibility, eager to learn, independent and you are not afraid to speak up your mind
- Willingness to possibly work 2 shifts

- Salary per month based on 38 hours per week, depending on education and experience;
- Our salaries are based on 38 hours per week, but fulltime work is 40 hours per week. Instead, you choose between a lot of holidays; 40 per year ór choose for a 40-hour salary per month with still 28 holidays. You can switch every six months;
