As a Vessel Agency Operator, you are the first point of contact for our clients and ship crews. You are the link between the ship and the official (port) authorities, suppliers, and other parties involved in a well-organized port visit managed by you. Your task is to fully relieve the customer and ship by providing all necessary and desired services. You handle all formalities regarding berth reservation, customs clearance of the ship and cargo, as well as all requests from the customer on board. Additionally, you also take care of the interests of the ship's crew, such as arranging doctor's visits, taxi transportation, and hotel rooms during crew changes.

**Do you possess**:

- At least an MBO4 level of education and thinking.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (in both English and Dutch).
- Proven work experience in the shipping industry and ship agency.
- Experience with customs is a plus.
- A driver's license (B).

Voor onze nieuw te openen vestiging in Vlissingen zoeken we een enthousiaste Vessel Agency Operator.

Als Vessel Agency Operator ben jij het eerste aanspreekpunt voor onze klanten en scheepsbemanning. Je bent de schakel tussen het schip en de officiële (haven) autoriteiten, leveranciers en andere partijen, welke betrokken zijn bij een door jouw goed georganiseerd havenbezoek. Jouw taak is om de klant en schip volledig te ontzorgen en te voorzien van alle benodigde en gewenste diensten en services. Je handelt alle formaliteiten af v.w.b. ligplaats reservering, douane in-uitklaring van schip en lading, alsmede alle verzoeken van de klant aan boord. Hiernaast behartig je tevens te belangen van de scheepsbemanning, te denken valt aan het regelen van een doktersbezoek, maar ook taxivervoer en hotelkamers bij bemanningswisselingen.
