Inalfa Roof Systems has initiated a research project aimed at integrating AD/ADAS-related sensors into roof systems. Cleaning of the sensors is one of the functionalities which are needed to increase the uptime of ADAS/AD systems. This project is about the analysis of input parameters and signals to develop a model for efficient and effective cleaning of the sensors.
Our project on “Exterior Sensor Module,” has a primary technical objective: to ensure sensor functionality under all specified conditions. A critical subsystem within this project is the cleaning system, which is designed to restore sensor signal quality in the event of external contamination.

As the number of sensors on vehicles continues to rise, minimizing washer liquid consumption poses a significant challenge for the future. Goal of this research project is to establish a framework, starting with a black box approach. This involves analyzing various input parameters and control signals, laying the groundwork for a future control and optimization model.

**Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Are**:

- Idea generation and selection

**What Do We Expect from You**:

- You are a third year BSc or MSc student mechatronics/electronics/software engineering.
- You are looking for an internship.
- Structured way of working and good communication / reporting skills _(English)._
- Familiar with Python, C++, Matlab Simulink and ROS.
- Strong engineering skills
- Balanced working approach regarding working independently and collaborating (multidisciplinary)
