About you and this role

At our European Production Site in Terneuzen, Netherlands we currently have an opportunity for a Research and Development Technician in our Chemical Recycling Lab.

This position gives you a challenging opportunity to join the Polyurethanes (PU) Product R&D team, a global team focused on advancing technology and products in the various market segments of polyurethanes with a focus on sustainability.

Responsibilities
- Executing Laboratory operation in a safe and scientifically sound way
- Support Design of Experiments (DoE) for PU Chemical Recycling
- Collaborate with R&D scientists on day to day activities
- Work with lab owner to ensure highest standard of safety and quality
- Reporting of lab results in timely manner
- Equipment owner for lab equipment
- Sample preparation for high-quality data generation in collaboration with Analytical Department

Qualifications
- You have minimum a Bachelor degree in Chemistry or similar
- You have experience in working in wet Chemistry lab.
- Ability to work independently and as a close-knit team.
- Ability to successfully partner with team members from multiple backgrounds.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of the Dutch language would be a plus.
- Experience in Polyurethane (PU) technology would be a plus.
