Our location on Thomsonlaan is small but very welcoming, capturing the cozy, home-like atmosphere that Villa Bloom is known for. Just around the corner, you’ll find the lively Fahrenheitstraat and the European School The Hague. Here, we offer childcare for children aged 0-4, with one group for 0-2 years and another for 2-4 years.

We are an international team of about 7 staff members from various backgrounds and nationalities. We enjoy working together, sharing our knowledge and expertise, and taking good care of each other, the children, and their parents. Others would describe us as a family. With team members from different parts of the world, we speak both Dutch and English with the children and each other

.**What will you do**

As a pedagogical employee at Villa Bloom, Thomsonlaan, you will be responsible for the daily care, development, and well-being of a group of children, focusing on the age group of 0-2 years. Your tasks will include:

- Creating a safe group atmosphere where children feel comfortable and are encouraged in their development, following the pedagogical policy plan;
- Guiding children in daily activities and organizing development-oriented activities both inside and outside the location;
- Taking responsibility for the mentorship of assigned children, supported by the pedagogical coach and the location manager;
- Monitoring children's development through observation methods and reporting monthly to the location manager and pedagogical coach through group meetings and child records and reports;
- Performing light housekeeping duties in the group and ensuring hygiene and good condition of inventories;
- Guiding and instructing group assistants and interns when present, and reporting periodically to the location manager and/or the pedagogical coach.

**Who are you**

You are a pedagogical professional at heart and understand the importance and value of your work for children's development. You recognize the importance of outdoor play and healthy nutrition for children. You're the first to put on those wellies and take the children outside, seeing opportunities everywhere and sharing your enthusiasm with the children.

For this position, we are looking for a pedagogical employee for 27 hours per week.
