Warehouse Receiver

**What you can expect for this function**:

- The receiver/stocker’s primary responsibility is to ensure that all incoming deliveries are received and put away correctly and completely each day.
- Accurately complete all quality control procedures and documents as part of the receiving process.
- Complete all receiving documentation.
- Record and report any discrepancies with shipments to supply office.
- Regular and timely attendance is a requirement for this position.
- Perform all duties in the safest manor possible.
- Report potential hazards and unsafe work conditions to team lead, lead hand, or manager.

**SECONDARY FUNCTIONS**:

- Perform regular counts of stored materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping/loading dock, warehouse and trash areas.
- Complete the loss log for tracking spoiled, or damaged inventory.
- Work closely with the production department to ensure proper stock and inventory of needed materials.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and inspected according to operating procedures.
- Adhere to shipping policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures.
- At times assist and work in other areas as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- No experience required, but any experience in supply, purchasing, receiving, or inventory is a plus.
- This is an entry level position and training for all functions can be provided.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Must be able to count.
- Be able to understand documents, such as purchase orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders.
- Must be willing to work weekends.
- Ability to work fast-paced
- Ability to show flexibility in working in various areas of the department.
- Ability to understand how one’s performance affects those in areas before and after one’s own.
- Ability to lift 40lbs.
