We have a current opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Den Haag. For further information about this position please apply.

Starting date: A.S.A.P.

Duration: 6 months.

For one of our clients we are looking for a Procurement Coordinator for short term duration of 6 months.

As the Procurement Coordinator you will ensure that cost-effective and high-quality purchase orders and service orders are produced in time, created in a commercially advantageous, professional and ethical manner and administered in accordance with Company's procedures.

Ensure the availability of goods and services as required by the business

Ensure the minimization of exposure to commercial and/or contractual risks

Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.

**Responsibilities**:

- Champion HSEQ in all Supply Chain Management activities and practices
- Source, select and purchase materials and services in line with overall procurement or contracting strategy
- Issue RFQ's in compliance with internal procedures
- Issue purchase/service orders using ERP system in accordance with procedures and governance
- Ensure efficient expediting/progress follow up, provide feed-back on the delivery status of goods and/or services ordered
- Support internal customers by maintaining a proper administration of purchase orders and service orders and related documents
- Coordinate e-procurement activities, catalogue purchasing and standard price lists
- Maintain price lists and standard call off procurement contracts in ERP system
- Responsible for the timely issue of change orders and handling invoice queries
- Provide professional direction and guidance, as required by any internal customer or suppliers to deliver the highest level of procurement standard work.
- Handle queries from suppliers or internal customers.
- Ensure proper feedback to and alert Procurement Specialist regarding supplier performance issues and supplier relationship issues
- Participate in the development of procurement strategies and planning in conjunction with the Procurement Specialist
- Responsible for registering procurement savings achieved
- Ensure cooperation with the Logistics Manager on process improvement and compliance of received goods and services
- Responsible for actions on registered non-conformities on goods and services and reporting on resulting corrective actions
- Additional responsibilities could be required as delegate for the Procurement Specialist

**Requirements**:

- Relevant higher educational qualification
- Ideally professionally qualified with a relevant professional body i.e. CIPS, NEVI+
- Good planning and organization skills, able to effectively indicate goals and priorities and the time, actions and resources required to be able to achieve the goals defined.
- Team player, able to collaborate with others for a common purpose
- Independent with good problem-solving skills
- Fluent in the Dutch and English language.
- A minimum of 5-10 years practical experience in an operational procurement role.
- Good understanding of contractual terms and conditions
- Good negotiation skills
- Knowledge and of supplier relationship and performance management
- Expert user of tools and systems to support different activities ( SAP, eRFX, Office, FPAL, Supplier Catalogues, etc. as applicable).
