To strengthen the impact we create, we would like to bring on board a specialist, who wants to fulfil the position of the Private Equity Investment Manager - Food Transition Europe Fund.

**Profile**:
**How you will make a difference**

You will help us to ‘finance change to change finance’, by helping invest in businesses driving the transition to a more sustainable food system. The role will come with responsibility from day one and much opportunity for growth and development.

Next to that:

- You will support the investment process for new deals, including analyzing pipeline opportunities, deal execution and investment proposals
- You will work with the portfolio to improve performance, both from a financial and impact point of view, including through being shareholder representative and/or board observer to some of the portfolio investments
- You will take an active part in our quarterly valuation process
- You will help develop the team’s investment thesis and build our presence, including through deep dive analysis into new target markets
- You will attend conferences and build/ maintain an active network through participation to industry events.
- You will support the rest of the Private Equity team, contribute to our ongoing learning and development
- You will be a representative of Triodos Bank, our mission & the fund vision

To be successful in this role, you will:

- have proven experience in Venture Capital or Private Equity
- have demonstrated affinity with organic and sustainable consumer businesses and with transition towards sustainable food and agriculture systems
- have a high level of skill in financial modelling and analysis
- have experience working with young / growing businesses and supporting / challenging them as they grow
- a preference for having some networks in the European Food & Agriculture sectors
- be fluent in English both orally and in writing, additional skills in Dutch, German or French a benefit
- be willing to travel in Western Europe on a regular basis (at least once per month)

**Your future colleagues**

Within the Impact Private Debt & Equity business the Private Equity Team is responsible for private equity investments in companies. It is made up of two sub-teams: one focused on Food & Agri in Europe and one focused on Financial inclusion globally. Prime focus of this position will be on Food & Agri in Europe through investments of the Triodos Food Transition Europe Fund (TFTEF). The fund currently has a portfolio of twelve investments across Europe.
