(Freelance) Construction Manager

**TERMS**
- The project will commence immediately and is scheduled to run for **6+ months**, with the option for extension.
- Both **fixed-term employment** and **freelance contract** options are available.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and budget a wide range of construction projects, including the installation and commissioning of mechanical and piping components.
- Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule.
- Review engineering documents, materials, and equipment specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including engineering teams, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage project logistics, site resources, and documentation, ensuring compliance with local regulations and codes.
- Address and resolve issues and conflicts that arise during construction.
- Conduct regular progress meetings and report on project status to senior management and clients.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 5+ years as a Construction Manager in chemical plant projects, with a strong focus on mechanical and piping disciplines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams and maintaining positive relations with clients and contractors.
- Fluent in **Dutch **and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of industry safety and environmental standards.
