**What will you do as a Quality & Food Safety Officer?**
As a Quality & Food Safety Officer, you are mainly concerned with handling customer-specific requirements, working on the maintenance and improvement of the quality and food safety management systems for lecithin, handling non-conformities and customer complaints. You support on the internal and external auditing process and contribute with the team by solving problems, making decisions and providing improvement proposals. You provide various monthly and quarterly reports for internal stakeholders and you also actively participate on behalf of the Quality & Food Safety (QFS) department Emulsifiers in various projects. Your location for this position is Zaandam You will also occasionally travel for auditing or visiting facilities abroad.

The QFS department for Emulsifiers at Bunge ensures the food safety and quality of our lecithin products and ensures that certification standards, legal requirements and customer-specific requirements are met. Since we work in a dynamic industry with many changes, you as a QFS department will continuously stay informed of everything and know how to respond to this.

**What does your future Manager say about this position?**
In this role, you will gain extensive knowledge about various international certifications, including ISO 22000, GMP+, organic EU, IP Non GMO, Kosher and Halal. Additionally, you will interact with a diverse range of stakeholders, such as different teams working at Bunge plants and co-producer facilities in Europe and our Innovation R&D Center in Budapest. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn from different departments, including Sales, Production, Marketing, and Quality. In this role you will travel to Hungary, Poland, Germany, and Austria, and fostering visit our Bunge plants and co-producer facilities in Europe to get a comprehensive understanding of our business operations.

**What do you bring to the table as a Quality & Food Safety Officer?**
As a person you have excellent communication skills and food safety, and quality are of paramount importance to you. You are also proactive, analytical, and structured. But what we specifically want to see on your resume is:

- A completed bachelors or master’s in chemistry, Process Technology, Food Technology, Food Safety or related.
- At least 6 months’ work or internship experience working in a QFS department environment.
- Experience working with risk assessment and quality management systems such as, HACCP, ISO22000 and, GMP+.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel and knowledge of ERP systems preferable SAP;
- Excellent command of the English language, spoken and written.
- Internal audit qualification would be beneficial.
