**Your role**:
We are looking for a Data Analyst in Amsterdam to deepen our understanding of the dynamics of our business, optimise decision making, help improve our digital products like the Fastned app, and bring transparency to our business performance.

You will join a small central team of Data Analysts and Data Engineers. You will have the opportunity to specialize yourself in a few domains and to become the main point of contact for those teams, building strong relationships with your stakeholders. We’re really looking for someone who aims at becoming a “Thought Partner” for his/her stakeholders, and is focused on making actionable recommendations

As we are a small team, we are also looking for someone who is not afraid of getting his/her hands dirty where needed. This means turning any amount and format of data into compelling and actionable insights, as well as thinking automation and scalability. On a day-to-day basis, the data technologies you will interact with are all recent and widely used.

**Your overall responsibilities include**:

- Support your stakeholders in evaluating the effect of actions in the past and to set the right priorities for the future;
- Support teams in defining their goals in a quantitative manner and in understanding how they are progressing;
- Partner with Product and Engineering team for driving experiment mindset, product performance measurement and reporting on outcomes, to build better products for our users;
- Present findings to senior management to drive decisions;
- Building reports, visualizations and dashboards to monitor performance;
- Improve our data pipelines and data models;

**Who we are looking for**:
You love exploring data You are driven by making discoveries, understanding their implications and you proactively deliver timely, digestible answers to complex tasks. You have the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner and convey technical concepts to non-experts. Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

- Degree in a technical field (engineering, economics, statistics or similar);
- 2+ years of relevant working experience;
- Proficiency with SQL;
- Comfortable with statistical concepts;
- Basic knowledge of Python or R;
- Prior experience with a BI / dashboard building tool;
- Prior experience with a data transformation tool like dbt or Dataform is a plus;
- Prior experience working with Product teams on A/B experimentation and tracking is a plus;
