We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Admin Assistant, for the Netherlands, based in our Amsterdam office. You will be reporting into the HR Business Partner of Netherlands. You will be working closely with the store operations, head office and European HR teams. Whilst also working with various external partners which may include recruitment vendors, training providers, labour law & employee institutions, and payroll.

The role of the HR Admin Assistant is to act as a role model for all UNIQLO and Fast Retailing values and principles, supporting line managers in the daily human resources operations and delivering HR services for stores. You will be responsible for making sure business operates in compliance with legal rules and obligations and ensuring effective implementation of global HR projects in the business.

Hours: Full Time (38h per week) - From Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary contract initially but can lead to permanent contract.

Starting Date: from October 2024

What would be your mission?

Business- Supporting store operation team in their day-to-day HR and payroll administrative matters- Supporting the HRBP in ensuring all HR policies and tools are correctly applied through regular store visits and HR audits, in line with country legal requirements, and provide communication and training on this when required.

Recruitment- Managing store openings recruiting projects together with Store operations team- Discussing and collecting hiring plans from stores, and build up accurate recruitment calendar- Providing any administrative support and follow up for any recruitment activities

People Development- Supporting the coordination of evaluation and promotion processes for stores and office teams- Contributing with the HRBP to develop and implement strategies that will maximise employee engagement and motivation at all levels in the business.

Individual employee relations- Being the first point of contact for employees relation issues in store and SSC which can be handled within agreed policy and escalate to HRBP or Senior Managers where appropriate.- Acting as a coach to line managers and employees on HR policy and procedure.

Employee representatives matters- Assisting the HRBP in preparing labor institutions meetings, participate to meetings, when necessary, where applicable- Making sure legal rules are properly communicated, known and applied within the business. Alert management when not respected.

What is your profile?- Qualification or direct experience in HR or Business administration- Up to a year’s experience in HR admin role or similar; entry levels will also be considered.- Experience with Workday system would be an advantage- Must be fluent in English and Dutch- Ability to establish trust relationships at all levels in the business in a multicultural environment- Very good listening and communication skills- Strong attention to detail- High flexibility and able to work on multiple projects concomitantly- Customer centric- Strong work ethics and integrity
