**The internship**

Come join the Social Sustainability team and contribute to our efforts in creating a positive impact.

**Main responsibilities & projects**
- Assist in the development and implementation of the social sustainability value chain due diligence strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives and values.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support due diligence programs and initiatives.
- Gather insights to further inform decision making, including benchmarking and legal trend monitoring.
- Help create communications and messaging on social sustainability topics.

**The department**

As an intern you'll be an integral part of the Global Social Sustainability team, which ensures that how HEINEKEN does business in its own operations and across its value chain respects people’s dignity and human rights.

**The terms of employment**
- Your starting date is 1 July 2024
- The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
- The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
- It is a practice-oriented internship
- You will be based in Amsterdam, with a hybrid way of working (3 days office, 2 days at home)
- You will receive an internship fee of €500 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week)
- You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on 40 hours per week)
- If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

**The start of your internship**

Your team and the People partner within Global People will support your onboarding. Furthermore, you can connect with other interns doing internship within the Global People function and other department.

**The unique you**
- Currently pursuing a degree in sustainability, social studies, human rights or any related field
- Ability to prioritize and to work in a structured way on projects and individually
- Exceptional team player and eager to learn
- Proficiency in English: written, spoken and interpersonal
