Business Analyst Responsible Investments
We are an international team who serve the Responsible Investment Domain in providing strategic solutions on the back of the latest technologies with the objective to support the latest investment strategies to achieve the best returns for our clients in relation to their ESG specific requirements. **The role**
Do you want to contribute to the design and build the next generation investment solutions using the latest technologies? Are you confident at iteratively refining user requirements and removing any ambiguity? Do you have a curious nature, always interested in how to innovate?
**What you would do**
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst professional who can help us with the following:
- Support and execute Product Owner / Business Analyst activities in coordinating and driving IT implementations, including user acceptance testing in close collaboration with out test strategists;
- Execute against product vision and commitments in an Agile environment;
- Perform large scale data & systems analysis;
- Develop understanding of ingested data, metrics, choose appropriate data models and design robust ETL/ELT pipelines together with our data engineers and developers;
- Manage and 'own' significant pieces of project deliverables end-to-end from the initial demand, all the way to testing the agreed solution and delivering to production;
- Be able to understand complex requirements, come up with high quality solution to address the demand within the 3D Reset Epic and fully explore dependencies and implications on various components of introducing the change;
- Survey, analyze and evaluate processes, products and services;
- Conduct requirements gathering activities, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting end user interviews;
- Act as a linking pin between the team members, IT, investment desks and keep be involved in topics on strategic architecture and design;
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and support teams and the organization to remove roadblocks;
- Provide documentation of processes and business requirements;
- Support solution architects and engineers by describing the business processes, including the organizational structures involved;
- Take on project management tasks and services.
**What you bring**
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst;
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Technology or equivalent;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills;
- The ability to interpret a set of technical requirements and develop robust solutions;
- Business analysis or project management experience in the financial industry, ideally with background in the asset management industry:
- Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders;
- Flexible and resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills taking initiative to drive things forward;
- Adaptable, able to work across teams and functions in multinational environment;
- Any qualifications like CFA will be an added plus.
Your work location will be Amsterdam.
