**Duties**:

- Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar.
- Assures an adequate stock level is maintained, sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items.
- Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff.
- Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips. Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary.
- Identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated, resolves the problem or seeks assistance.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A probation period of one year may be required.
- Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Successfully complete a health screening. Immunizations required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
- Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
- Working Conditions: Work is primarily indoors. Exposed to cuts and bruises.
- Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. Stands for prolonged periods.
- MUST be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.

**Qualifications**:

- Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, beer and soda.
- Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons.
- Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.

Satisfactory completion of a certified bartender training school may be substituted for the required experience.**Education**:
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

**FWS Allowances and Differentials**
- All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
- Regular part-time and are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.

**PCS Costs**
- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

**Incentives and Bonuses**
- Incentives will not be paid.

**Foreign Overseas Allowances**
- Living Quarters Allowances (LQA) is not authorized for this position.
