Als Financial policy & reporting officer bij Nationale Nederlanden in Den Haag focus je op vooruitgang. Dankzij jou verloopt het jaarlijkse verslagleggingsproces soepel. En voldoen de rapportages van jouw financiële collega’s bij NN Schade & Inkomen aan het beleid van NN Group en de nieuwste wet
- en regelgeving. Een sturende en verbindende rol met veel impact op de professionalisering van ons rapportageproces.

Wat ga je doen?

Bij jou komen de group accounting policies en de toepassing van verslagleggingsprocessen en grondslagen binnen de business unit Schade & Inkomen (S&I) samen. Jij bereidt de rapportagecyclus inhoudelijk goed voor, maakt afspraken over de te volgen procedures en ziet toe op de opvolging van werkwijzen door medewerkers van de diverse finance-afdelingen. Met jouw brede, afdeling-overstijgende zienswijze help je collega’s verspreid over de organisatie het grotere geheel en het belang van centrale afspraken en nieuwe regelgeving te begrijpen. Vanuit je kennis en ervaring beoordeel je financiële rapportages en behandel je DNB-verzoeken, audit issues en accountingvraagstukken. Daarbij ben jij hét aanspreekpunt voor de externe accountant, consultants en collega’s van onder meer het Finance Service Center (FSC).

In deze uitdagende, resultaatgerichte rol:

- Volg en beoordeel je de in
- en externe ontwikkelingen rondom financiële verslaglegging en zie je toe op een tijdige en correcte implementatie
- Beheer en actualiseer je de local accounting manual voor NN S&I en bewaak je de aansluiting daarvan op de group accounting policies. Daarbij monitor je de naleving van procedures en wet
- en regelgeving en bespreek je eventuele afwijkingen en de bijsturing daarvan
- Houd je toezicht op de werkzaamheden die FSC voor S&I uitvoert en identificeer en initieer je samen met de betrokkenen verbeteringen over en weer
- Adviseer en ondersteun je als inhoudelijk expert de CFO en het management van S&I Finance bij vraagstukken op het gebied van accounting of reporting
- Maak je de vertaalslag tussen de cijfers en de business en krijg je volop de ruimte om te pionieren in een veelzijdig en boeiend speelveld met veel verschillende stakeholders

Wat je meebrengt

Je hebt veel expertise op het gebied van accounting, toezicht en verslaglegging. Die zet je graag in voor een kwalitatief resultaat dat gezamenlijk bereikt en gedragen wordt. Verder heb je voor de rol van Financial policy & reporting officer:

- Een wo-master-diploma in de richting accounting, auditing en/of control
- Een RA-opleiding afgerond, of bijna afgerond
- Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen de financiële dienstverlening - verzekeraar
- Inhoudelijke kennis van verslaggevingswet
- en regelgeving, met name op gebied van IFRS, Solvency II en DNB- en EIOPA-toezichthouderrapportages
- Uitstekende communicatie
- en presentatievaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels is een vereiste
