Security Internship

Allseas works worldwide and the security of its personnel and vessels is paramount to the success of a project or operation. Allseas’ Security department utilizes several tools and procedures, in collaboration with other operational departments, to ensure that Allseas projects have the correct security measures and protocols in place. This also includes protecting our employees who travel on behalf of Allseas while they are in transit.

**Your role**:
As a Security Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the crucial role of project and travel security within the offshore construction industry. You will work closely with the Security Risk Analyst to support various security-related tasks and projects. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in threat analysis, risk intelligence, incident response. Furthermore, you will be given the opportunity to collaborate with other departments, as well as assist in building a security culture within Allseas.

**Key Responsibilities**:
During this internship, your key responsibilities will include the following:

- Produce briefings and reports regarding security for project teams and clients
- Monitor and triage real-time security incident alerts
- Manage our security platforms including SharePoint and other platforms
- Conduct research into maritime security when required
- Assist in creating and fostering a security awareness culture within Allseas
- Create and carry out workshops related to different security topics
- Create an e-Learning for non-security-minded employees.

**What we expect from you**:

- A student studying preferably one of the following courses or similar at university level: Safety and Security Management, Crisis and Security Management, Security Studies, Political Science. Thesis students are also welcome to apply.
- Available between 24-32 hours a week in office.
- Interested in corporate security, risk intelligence and global affairs.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Experienced in writing reports and creating presentations for both a professional and non-professional audience.
- Fluent in English both verbally and written, other languages are also a plus.
- Previous experience with SharePoint is a plus.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office.
