In Finance, we work hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to ensure smooth, focused execution of strategic business objectives. Our Accounting team builds scalable, controlled processes and products for Global Accounting, Treasury, and FinTech that enable our business to operate efficiently.

**About the Role**

We are looking for an Accounting intern on the Global Intercompany Team, to be part of the team that is crucial to the company's month-end close process. You will become specialized in multiple entity structuring, transfer pricing, intercompany and onshoring. This role requires an individual with an analytical approach and should work well in a dynamic environment.

**What You'll Do**
- Prepare intercompany journal entries for month-end close
- Analyze and identify intercompany balances for netting and settlement, prepare vital documentation (invoices and working files) to initiate settlement and coordinate with Treasury and AP team
- Be a key user of the in-house developed intercompany accounting and netting tool (iCAN) and perform UAT on improvements
- Support senior accountants for requests from the Reporting team regarding statutory audit of intercompany balances
- Maintain and ensure completeness of intercompany agreements, policies and desktop procedures (DTPs)
- Prepare flux analysis of transfer pricing calculations as per requests from Reporting, Tax and Transfer Pricing team
- Review reconciliation of intercompany accounts performed by the GBS team
- Work closely with GBS team to standardize intercompany processes

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business or related field
- Written and spoken fluency in English
- Availability to start on September, 16th and work full-time for 6 months
- Working rights in Amsterdam (No sponsorship available)

**Preferred Qualifications**
- A foundational understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, principles and tax and reporting processes and requirements in an international environment
- Good eye for details and excellent analytical skills (MS Excel)
