Als Port Officer bij Port of Amsterdam werk je als schipper en Toezichthouder in de Amsterdamse wateren én geniet je van je dagelijkse vrije tijd thuis. Je werkt volgens het rooster met ochtend, middag en nachtdiensten in een cyclus van 6 aaneengesloten dagen waarna je 4 dagen vrij bent. Als Port Officer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vlot, veilig en verantwoord bevaarbaar houden van de vaarwegen in het Amsterdams havengebied en je hebt daarin diverse taken. Zo ben je schipper op het patrouillevaartuig en houd je samen met je collega toezicht op het gebruik van de vaarwegen, havens en kades. Je verzorgt de verkeersbegeleiding van (zee)schepen, voert binnenvaartinspecties uit en wordt ter assistentie ingezet bij calamiteiten. Vanuit je positie als Toezichthouder moet je soms als Buitengewoon Opsporingsambtenaar handhavend optreden en proces-verbaal opmaken.

WAT BRENG JE MEE?
- Minimaal MBO (bij voorkeur richting nautiek)
- Groot vaarbewijs en ervaring als schipper in de grote binnenvaart
- Radar-diploma en Marifoon-bedieningscertificaat
- Goed in een team, stevig karakter, communicatief sterk en besluitvaardig
- Beheersing Nederlands, Engels en Duits
- Bereid om verplichte opleidingen te volgen en volcontinudiensten te draaien
- Rijbewijs en eigen vervoer

WAT BIEDEN WE JOU?
- €3.323 - €4.780 (schaal 7) bruto p/m tijdens de opleiding en afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring; na behalen van opleiding stroom je door naar schaal 8 (max. €5.380) (Inclusief ORT)
- Bijdrage ziektekosten 53;
- en garantietoelage van €84;

- Individueel Keuzebudget van 17,88% (inclusief vakantiegeld, 13e maand en IKB bijdrage)
- 36-urige werkweek (gemiddeld)
- 144 uur wettelijk verlof, leeftijdsafhankelijk bovenwettelijk verlof volgens cao (+ feestdagen, waaronder Goede vrijdag, 1 en 5 mei)
- Gedeeltelijk betaald ouderschapsverlof
- Persoonlijk ontwikkelbudget van €2000,
- Bijdrage zorgverzekering en duurzaamheidstoelage
